These nature journaling kits are just what you need. I've filled one of my handmade waxed canvas and leather buckets with a hand stitched leather notebook, a watercolor set, a colored pencil set in a durable metal tin, a bamboo magnifying glass, an eraser, and a small jar for water (or bugs, or....).

The leather gives shape and structure to the bucket and the waxed canvas gives flexibility and water resistance.

While not water proof, these buckets will hold water for a while. Unlike plastic buckets, these squash nearly flat for easy packability. Give it a quick shake, and it regains its shape.

Choose the color of your bucket and the thickness of the canvas. Green, brown, and gray canvas are a lighter weight 10 ounce canvas. Blue canvas is a heavier weight 12 ounce canvas. The lightweight 10 ounce waxed canvas will stand up on its own with some coaxing, but it prefers to scrunch down. The 12 ounce thicker canvas will stand up on its own.

Each bucket is 6" diameter and 7.5" tall.

Each bucket is handmade by me out of leather and waxed canvas, which have individual marks and wear patterns that are normal and it will gain a great patina over time.

The hand stitched leather notebook is also made by me and will have individual marks and wear patterns. Pages are blank and ready for sketching or watercolors.
