Origami Crane Pocket Pal Kit

Try your hand at leatherwork with this Pocket Pal kit. This one is more challenging than the easy and medium kits: there are four pieces of leather to work with and there is a lot of stitching. The final seam to pull everything together can be tricky and will require patience and maybe a pair of pliers to pull the needle through.

Kit comes with all you need to complete the project: leather pieces glued together where necessary and with pre-punched stitching holes, as well as a leather cord for hanging, thread, and a needle.

Finished crane is about 4" tall and about 3" long from beak to tail. The wingspan is about 5.5" once they're bent into place.

Leather is a natural product, so there will be marks and variations to the color and finish of each Pocket Pal kit. This adds to the character and individuality of each one, as does the wear that will occur as you use it.
