My First Pocket Pal: Circle
Now your younger kiddos can try their hand at leatherwork!
Three and four year olds may do better with a parent holding the leather while they work the needle, and five and six year olds may be able to sew it on their own with pointers from a nearby parent.
This kit is the easiest one so far, featuring fewer, larger stitching holes than my other kits, similar to what you'd find on a wood or cardboard lacing card.
Kit comes with all you need to complete the project: leather with pre-punched stitching holes and a pre-installed snap, yarn, and a plastic yarn needle.
Finished circle pocket is about 4" in diameter.
Also provided is the link to a video tutorial walking you through how to help your child stitch their first pocket pal.
Leather is a natural product, so there will be marks and variations to the color and finish of each kit. This adds to the character and individuality of each one, as does the wear that will occur as you use it.
